UKRAINIAN EUROPEAN INTEGRATION PROJECT

Abstract

The article is devoted to the key issues of European integration project of Ukraine. It is declared that the project of integration of Ukraine into the EU should be implemented and the process of implementation should rely on complex European integration model: "A person with the European world view - a new quality of a human and social capital - basic European institutions - a new economy - a new quality of life – a sustainable development." It is emphasized that the economic development of the country, the poverty reduction and the establishment of European social standards require welldeveloped and protected private property institutions. It is underlined that the key factors for successful implementation of the European integration project are the human and social capital of a nation, because these factors define the innovativeness of the society as the necessary pre-requisite for joining the European community which is aimed at innovation. It has been demonstrated that culture, including economic one, of Ukrainians causes significant problems by implementation of European institutions into the life of Ukrainian society. It is stressed that the success of European integration project can only be achieved by a strong and sufficiently centralized state power, because the weakness of government and government institutions causes slowness and inefficiency of the implementation of the project.
