MODELLING OF ENTERPRISE BUSINESS ARCHITECTURE

Abstract

In modern conditions of economic development, business design facilitates technological management and organizational changes, which allow managers to set priorities according to the requirements of the operating environment. Therefore the purpose of the given research is carrying out of the analysis of architecture of the enterprise as means promoting management of knowledge and changes, and its comparison with other tools, methods and the structures of management using various approaches to improvement of business management. In the article it is offered to include such components as the balanced system of indexes (BSC), the approach of the European fund of quality management (EFQM), the purposes of control of information and adjacent technologies (COBIT), library of an infrastructure of information technologies (ITIL) to the complex methodical toolkit of modeling of architecture of the enterprise as it give guidelines of strategic management, efficiency measurement by means of the certain system of indexes and management on the basis of visualization of various points of view. These models have gained considerable popularity among management tools at the largest companies in the world. A comparative description was carried out for modeling the architecture of the enterprise. The models of enterprise architecture are the basis for all management processes in the company. It is determined that the main role of enterprise architecture is the effective modeling of knowledge and change management, which serves as an input and support for other structures and methods. Before using or merging any management tool, it is necessary to conduct business diagnostics of the company's activity to determine the actual needs of the enterprise being evaluated. It is proved that the most compatible tool with the enterprise architecture is COBIT, as it uses and provides a set of effective tools for modeling the enterprise architecture. It contributes to the creation of enterprise architecture for the use of any of the tools under study and allows reducing the cost level and increasing the efficiency of their implementation.
